Statement
I explore the relationship between humans and their environment, focusing on conflict, existence, and meaning. With a background in cultural relic restoration, I am drawn to the connection between people and objects.
Working primarily in jewelry and wearable sculpture, I incorporate artifacts and traditional craft techniques to investigate identity and memory.
Through enamel, weaving, casting, and ceramic processes, I transform and combine materials to explore the tension between the human body and its surroundings. Jewelry, as a wearable form, allows the body to become a site of reflection, where personal experience and broader existential questions coexist.
